FAQ
What is lived in colour?
Lived in colour is designed to grow out beautifully over time without visible lines. Its ideal if you want a more natural, expensive looking colour, prefer fewer salon visits and want more brightness without committing to frequent touch ups.
How do I choose the right stylist?
Finding the right stylist is important, We provide a dedicated stylist page featuring links their individual Instagram portfolios, allowing you to explore their work and find perfect fit for you. We always recommend scheduling a consultation, where you can share your ideas together and develop a plan for your appointment day.
Why am I experiencing hair loss?
This is a common question we get here at the studio. Hair loss can happen for many reasons and is more common than most people realise. Hair changes can sometimes be linked to:
-
Stress or illness
-
Hormonal changes
-
Nutritional deficiencies
-
Medications
-
Heat or chemical damage
-
Genetics
During you appointment we can help identify whether what you're seeing looks more like breakage, shedding or thinning and recommend supportive haircare.
If you are noticing sudden, patchy or persistent hair loss, we always recommend speaking with your GP to further explore the underlying cause.
I am fed up with covering my grey, I'm ready to start grey blending-but where do I start?
Grey blending is a hot topic right now and we love to hear when our clients are ready to embrace their natural colour. It doesn't always have to be a big shift initially, maybe you'll swap your permanent tint for a semi permanent and start to enjoy a softer grow out this way. Or for some who wish to accelerate the process or have more grey to incorporate may want to do a more transformative service to really get the ball rolling. If you'd like to talk to someone at the studio about this, book a free consultation. We would be happy to help!
Which haircut suits me best?
There's a haircut for everyone, it's all about tailoring it to you. Thinking about a bob? Fine hair may suit a blunt finish for fullness, thicker hair often benefits from removing weight underneath and curly hair needs to be cut with the natural pattern in mind. A good stylist will always make sure your hair looks great and is realistic to maintain at home.
I've tried to come in but the door is locked?
Yes it is! Due to the unique layout of our salon we have a buzzer entry. All you need to do is ring the buzzer next to the door and we will welcome you in!
